British Sign Language Health Access BSL Health Access offers immediate, on demand access to BSL interpreters for communication with Deaf people across all NHS related services, including GPs, health clinics, pharmacies and 111. The service is currently free and can be accessed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. BSL users can access the service via the InterpreterNow App on a phone, tablet, laptop or PC.

Action for Blind People (RNIB) Visit our national webpage for useful information.  West of England Eye Unit through RNIB’s Eye Clinic Liaison Officers. Officers are continuing to support existing and new patients during the pandemic by checking they have access to shopping, prescriptions and medication, are able to keep in touch with family and friends and can access current info about the situation.
